The team from the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, participated in the international event SCUDEM X, 2025. SCUDEM (SIMIODE Challenge using differential equation modeling). It is an international-level competition held annually in October or November for undergraduate students. SCUDEM is administered by SIMIODE (a US 501(c)(3) charitable organization), a non-profit Community of Practice focused on a modeling approach to solving differential equations.
Students have solved the complex differential equations modeled for the “Raining Space Dust” problem under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Malhotra, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, IT-NU, and submitted their work for the competition SCUDEM X, 2025. Team: Tanya Doshi (25BCE331), Mahi Acharya (25BCE321), Priyasha Goyal (25BTM039) won the Outstanding award for this international-level competition.
